Project Senior Engineer

Location: Asian Star Building, Alabang
Contract Duration:  2 years

The Role:

• The Project Engineer leads the implementation and the timely completion of specific tasks, as assigned by the SURF & TS Delivery Manager as required, such tasks may include Interface Management, Delivery Management, or Change Management depending upon the size and complexity of the assigned activity.
• Manage specific tasks assigned by organizing, controlling, and reporting as required timely exchange of the information required to perform assigned tasks.
• Ensure that delegation throughout the team enables quick and well-informed decision making while maintaining an appropriate level of control.
• Support the PMT members to remain focused on Project Objectives
• Cascade the Project objectives/ targets to the Project team and ensure they are well understood.
• Ensure the Management of Change process is followed.
• Report on a regular basis all key information to the SURF & TS Delivery Manager.
• Ensure corrective actions are in place.
  – Facilitate effective communication and information sharing among different teams and departments to promote efficient decision-making.
• Create dashboards to monitor and report on project performance metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and overall progress to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and innovation within the project team.
• Lead regular project meetings and workshops, promoting collaboration and problem-solving.
• Prepare and deliver project status updates and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the development of project documentation, including project plans, schedules, risk assessments, and change management procedures.
• Part of the scope involves:
  • Monitoring planned costs vs actual spend.
  • Managing contractor performance to ensure deliverables are accomplished as per schedule.
  • Work as gatekeeper for correspondence between company and contractor and able to distribute information across the contract management team as needed.
  • Create regular cadence meetings with contractors to ensure issues are timely discussed and resolved.
  • Coordinate closely with the contract holder, company/technical representative, and contract specialist to highlight key achievements, issues and areas for improvement.
  • Understand the contract scope and company obligations and able to identify and monitor the key deliverables of the contractor and intervene as necessary with the help of the contract management team.
