The Malampaya Phase IV project involves adding one infill and one near field exploration (NFE) well with the aim of enhancing the Malampaya platform’s performance and extend its operating life.
This will help counter the decline in field productivity and ensure a continuous supply of local gas to the Philippine power market. These new wells will be connected to the existing Malampaya 10-slot manifold.
