Systems Administration Lead

About the Job

Location: Asian Star Building, Alabang

 

The Role:

Responsible for managing all Cloud, On-prem, and collocated physical or virtual servers and storage. Manages the day-to-day operations of AWS, Azure AD, Intune, VMware, Exchange, and other services IT provides to the company.

General:

  • Installing and configuring new systems and applications, including operating systems, databases, web servers, and other infrastructure components.
  • Installing applications such as operating systems, databases, web servers, and other infrastructure components.
  • Troubleshooting problems with hardware and software, including responding to support requests from users.
  • Monitoring server performance to identify problems and make adjustments to improve performance.
  • Installing patches and updates to operating systems and applications to ensure optimal performance.
  • Creating disaster recovery plans and procedures for responding to major outages or natural disasters affecting the data center.
  • Server Health Check and performance monitoring.
  • Administration on DFS, DNS, WINS, CA, Radius, and DHCP.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in a Windows environment – Event log analysis, installation, and administration of Windows Server.
  • Monitor data-center health using existing management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers when needed.
  • Assist the help desk and other teams with troubleshooting to identify root cause and provide technical support when needed.
  • Perform routine and scheduled audits of all systems, including backups.

VMware:

  • Managing the use of virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere.
  • Installing, configuring, and managing ESX servers, Virtual Infrastructure, and virtual center.
  • Performance tuning of VMware servers, Virtual sessions, and management of server resource between virtual machines. Troubleshooting virtual machine issues.
  • Moving physical machine to virtual machine using p2v converter.
  • Monitor virtualization infrastructure and provide advice on capacity requirements.

Amazon Web Services:

  • Managing the complete AWS life cycle, along with security, provisioning, and automation.
  • Administrating and establishing the architecture of multi-tier systems.
  • Fine-tuning and configuring various cloud infrastructures.
  • Performing services such as kernel patching, errata patching, and software upgrades.
  • Creating backups and managing disaster recovery.
  • Maintaining access control, as well as the integrity of data, throughout the platform of the AWS application.
  • Effectively monitoring performance degree and its availability.
  • Monitoring usage of computing resources such as CPU usage, memory consumption, storage capacity, and network bandwidth utilization to ensure that the cloud environment is performing efficiently.
  • Deploying AWS stack including EC2, Route53, S3, and RDS.
  • Fine-tuning and configuring various cloud infrastructures.

Windows Active Directory and Azure AD:

  • Managing Microsoft Identity Management products (Active Directory, Azure, AD Connect, Office 365).
  • Creating and managing application integration for identity and access management. Having experience of Creating conditional access policies Multifactor authentication.
  • Familiarity in the following areas: single sign-on, enterprise directory architecture and designs, directory schema, namespace, replication topology, resource.
  • Experience in Syncing the Object Users, Groups, workstation from the Active Directory to Azure Active Directory.
  • Experience in SAML, web Single Sign-on (SSO).
  • Monitoring the Licenses for Azure AD issues, resolving the License Issue for Azure AD Users. Assigning the licenses Group based.
  • Administration on Forest, Domain trust, AD, and Group Policy, and Distribution lists.
  • Expertise in Active Directory Design and support (GPOs, AD Schema, OUs, LDAP, Sites, Replication, etc.).

Windows Intune:

  • User Management
  • Mobile Application Management
  • Device/Profile Management
  • Create, edit, or delete Azure Active Directory Dynamic user/Device groups.
  • Upload and Configuring LOB applications (Windows, iOS, and Android).
  • Upload and Configuring Store applications (Windows, Apple, and Google).
  • Deploy LOB applications to a computer/mobile devices (iOS and Android)
  • Deploy Store applications to a mobile devices (Windows 10, iOS, and Android)
  • Monitor application deployment status.
  • Enroll and manage mobile devices (iOS, Android, Windows) into the Intune environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT support, security, and application development teams, to integrate Intune with other systems and processes.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users regarding Intune-related issues.
  • Ensure the integrity and security of mobile devices and data by implementing appropriate security measures and policies.
  • Stay up to date with the latest security threats and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Configure device settings, including passcode policies, encryption, and remote wipe capabilities.

  • Proficient in Active Directory, AD Azure, Windows Intune, AWS, VMware, Exchange, Microsoft DLP, DNS, DHCP, Radius, CA, Linux (optional), and DFS.
